New release from Wild Island Gin

Some very exciting news from Wild Island distillery on Colonsay as they announce the release of their UNDERWOOD Whisky Cask Aged Gin.

The gin is the newest release in their Distiller’s Cut series, which is distilled at their beautiful island home and previously available to buy only from their shop and a few select retailers.

Ageing the spirit for exactly 14 months in an American Oak hogshead which had previously held spirit from a neighbouring whisky island, means this exceptional new aged gin has taken on a whole new array of natural flavours – very pale straw in colour and rich orange liqueur-like in character, with hints of spice.

The team recommend this is best served as a liqueur – simply over ice, or topped up with ginger ale and slices of fresh lime.
