Pentland Hills Party Gin is sure to float your boat!

The brilliant folks at the award-winning Pentland Hills Gin have just released a new gin – their Party Gin has been ‘floated’ in order to help celebrate the biggest party of the year.

Distilled to honour the Platinum Jubilee of HM the Queen, the gin has been fully tested in an active party environment and those who attended fully agreed that it has ‘Party’ written all over it.

Head Distiller Phil offers the following thoughts on the gin:

‘A lighter gin, 38% abv and designed for a bit of summer quaffing! The gin has a soft, smooth expression with a light touch of sweetness from the wild strawberries and brambles included in the recipe. There is also a slight peppery hint (we use peppercorns from a wonderful company called Kampot Pepper who sustainability source their peppercorn from Cambodia) along with a whiff of mint. We had great fun choosing the ‘perfect serve’ for the gin – it makes a great G&T, Tabatha rather likes a few raspberries added to the mix, or (because Panza, our Chocolate Labrador, made me do it) I recommend a slice or 2 of cucumber. Either way, it makes excellent summer sipping and the perfect way to toast our Monarch’s Jubilee. Also, give it a go in a Martini – you won’t be disappointed.
