King’s Hill Gin celebrates gold

The team at The Pentland Still, who produce King’sHill Gin, are still pinching themselves after receiving a gold medal at the World Gin Awards in the hotly-contested UK London Dry Gin category.

Celebrations are continuing at the Pentland Hills distillery, where the small-batch, craft Scottish Gin, King’s Hill Gin is produced using a combination of botanicals that includes juniper, coriander, orris root, elderflower and gorse.

Director, Sandy Morrison told us: “I still can’t quite believe we came runners up in the most hotly contested category, an incredible achievement for Scottish small fry like me!”

Representation of Scottish Gin brands was strong in the first round of judging and we were absolutely delighted to see some of the smaller, craft gin brands making an impact. An exceptional result for King’s Hill, a gin that only launched in July 2018. We hope they enjoy their well-deserved celebrations!
