McQueen Gin now in Scottish Sainsbury’s

How many of you have browsed the spirits aisle in your local supermarket, only to be left disappointed with the selection of Scottish craft gins on offer?  Luckily, it seems that some of the large supermarket chains are paying attention to consumer demand and are stocking more of our favourite Scottish Gin brands.

That’s why we’re very excited this week to bring you the news that Sainsbury’s stores throughout Scotland will be stocking McQueen Gin’s Sweet Citrus and Super Premium Dry gin products.

The announcement comes off the back of a very successful few years for the award-winning Scottish Gin brand, founded by Dale and Vicky McQueen, after the family business has picked up several accolades, from design awards for their beautiful bottle to a double gold award from the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their flagship product, the Super Premium Dry Gin.

Interest and demand for McQueen Gin’s uniquely distilled and flavoured products has been growing ever since they were founded in 2015, and news of the listing in Sainsbury’s will surely see their stock continue to rise as the brand look to grow their customer base even further.

Speaking about the listing, co-founder and the creative mind behind a lot of the products Vicky McQueen said:

‘’It’s great to see something that you are so passionate about begin to come to life on a major scale. We believe our products bring something to the market that isn’t readily available – flavour profiles that are different and intriguing and a distillation method that ensures the end product is pure and very high in quality. We’re excited to keep giving our customers, new and old, an exciting and adventurous gin experience.’’

The Sweet Citrus and Super Premium Dry products from the McQueen Gin range are now available in Sainsbury’s stores throughout Scotland and retail at £26 per bottle.
