Raven Gin wins gold at The Gin Masters 2018

Raven Spirits, the newest gin company to come out of Aberdeenshire are celebrating winning a gold award at the Gin Masters 2018, having launched a mere 2 months ago.

Raven Spirits received a gold award for its Raven Gin ‘Thought & Memory’ in the London Dry category.  The company is based in Aberdeen and was launched by brothers Callum and Peter Sim.

Callum Sim, Raven Spirits Ltd director and founder said: “The GLOBAL SPIRIT MASTERS are internationally renowned for their high standards and the quality of their panels’ judging. To have RAVEN GIN recognised with a Gold Medal in The Gin Masters is a huge accolade for us. Especially when you consider that we only launched six weeks prior to winning this award.

We are both honoured and humbled by the result and are extremely proud to stand in such august company as the other winners.”

This award is even more remarkable as Raven Gin was really only just on the market when it was entered into the awards scheme

Peter said: “Raven Gin was entered into the Gin Masters on the day we launched, and we were astounded to learn, 6 weeks later, that we had won a Gold Medal.

This gold award is special to us as it was achieved at a blind tasting by experts from within the industry – it is a great endorsement.”

To celebrate and also to make the Raven Gin ‘Thought & Memory’ available to all who want to try its award-winning taste Raven Spirits has made it available from www.ravengin.com with free P&P till the 29th of July.
