Historic House of Elrick opens its doors for tours

Sitting proudly on the Elrick estate amid the natural beauty of the Aberdeenshire lowlands,
Elrick House has been locked up tightly, being considered a mystery to many. Until now,
that is…

After years of hard work and restoration, Stuart Ingram, founder of spirits brand House of
Elrick finally opens the doors to welcome the public for distillery gin experience tours.
Guests will commence their journey in the Apple Store, a stunning building that sits within
the walled garden at the estate. You will be guided on the historical journey of the house, as
well as an introduction to the House of Elrick business and journey thus far.

The tour will then take guests through to the distillery, where they will get to meet the
infamous Charlie, whose namesake is another great Scot! Charlie, affectionately known to
the team, is actually the beloved copper pot still, and the heart of the brand.

Finally, and arguably the best part of the tour, an invitation into the illusive Elrick House,
where you will sit in the cosy Whisky Room whilst tasting three of the brand’s fine spirits.
Lasting approximately 1.5 hours and costing £25 for one person, the tour is the perfect
experience for small groups or those celebrating special occasions with loved ones.
