Winter Botanical limited edition released from Red Door Gin

Exciting news today as Red Door Highland Gin has announced the release of a small batch limited edition bottling, which will be the first release in a new seasonal flavours range.
Just 6,000 bottles of Red Door Highland Gin with Winter Botanicals will be
made available for sale, so if you want to get your hands on one, you’d best be quick!

The gin is made using a combination of warming allspice, aromatic sea buckthorn and zesty blood orange with the fruity- freshness of sultanas and hop blossom. Distilled at 45% ABV, it has been carefully crafted behind the Forres distillery’s iconic red door in ‘Peggy’ – the small copper pot still.

The botanicals were carefully selected and harmonised to create flavours and aromas of winter, from warm citrus notes to the richness of Christmas cake.
The team at Red Door say that Red Door Highland Gin with Winter Botanicals is perfect served with a slice of orange and premium tonic water or used to create a Winter Punch with the addition of ginger syrup, red vermouth, an orange wedge and lemonade.
Lizzie Haw, Red Door Highland Gin’s flavour expert, said:

“We’re thrilled to be adding to our product portfolio with the release of this limited-edition seasonal flavour. It’s the perfect addition to the winter drinks cabinet and ideal for festive entertaining or Christmas gifting.
As a small, handcrafted gin distillery we have the advantage of being nimble and responsive to new or seasonal flavour trends. This seasonal edition with winter botanicals is the first of our special releases, carefully created to showcase how festive flavours like allspice and sultanas combine with the classic notes from our core gin, such as sea buckthorn.”

Red Door Gin with Winter Botanicals (RRP £29.99) is available to order directly from the Red Door Distillery in Forres by calling 01309 675 968.
