Lidl’s Scottish Gin Festival launches

Time to grab your shopping trolleys. Lidl’s third Scottish Gin Festival launches today and it’s a great opportunity to try a selection of craft Scottish Gins from the Highlands and Islands.

The festival features ten amazing Scottish Gins that you can buy from just £14.99 and includes some classic London Dry gins as well as more exotic flavoured options, like Coconut, Strawberry & Elderflower & Red Grapefruit – an excellent excuse to try something new this summer.

The supermarket’s latest Scottish Gin Festival says it is offering Scottish Gin lovers “a taste of the country’s natural landscape with gin from ten craft distilleries.” You can find the gins on shelves in Scottish Lidl stores from today.

Five of the gins are on Lidl shelves for the very first time, including GlenWyvis GoodWill Gin from the first 100% community-owned distillery, Bute Gorse Gin and Wild Thyme Spirit’s Colonsay Gin Solas edition.

The Scottish Gins on offer are:

  • Glenwyvis Goodwill Gin
  • House of Elrick Gin
  • Shetland Reel Filska Gin
  • House of Elrick Old Tom Coconut Gin
  • Isle of Bute Gorse Gin
  • Kinrara Lime & Lemongrass Gin
  • Strathearn Heather Rose Gin
  • Colonsay Gin Solas
  • Redcastle Strawberry & Elderflower Gin Liqueur
  • Lone Wolf pre-mixed G&T

The stores will also feature a range of tonics and suggested garnishes, so you can mix up some perfect serves of your chosen gin.

And there’s the problem. With such a mouth-watering array of Scottish Gins on offer, how will we ever make a decision?

Please enjoy Scottish Gin responsibly.
