A taste of Pickering’s Pink Grapefruit and Lemongrass Liqueur

Sometimes we really, really love our job.  It’s a very hot summer’s day and a package arrives at the door.  The lovely lot at Pickering’s have sent us a bottle of their new Pink Grapefruit and Lemongrass Liqueur to try and not just that, they’ve included a bottle of Prosecco as a mixer!

Well, we’re dedicated to bringing you news and reviews of all things Scottish Gin, so we decided we should try it out straight away.

Starting with a good measure of the pink liqueur in a flute and adding chilled Prosecco gives you a charming cloudy pink fizz.

Tasting it, you get an immediate zing of pink grapefruit, which is incredibly refreshing, followed by the warmth of the lemongrass.  the bubbles bursting on your tongue leave you with a lingering spicy citrus taste.  This is definitely a very superior gin liqueur as the flavours that come through are genuine and natural and definitely very moreish!

If you want to try it for yourself (and we know you do) you can order here.
