A special gin to Toast the Lassies on Burn’s Night

Now Christmas is behind us, are you looking for the next celebration and a chance to crack open a bottle of gin with friends? Well, we have exciting news. With Burn’s Night happening on 25th January, the award-winning team at Dunnet Bay Distillery have announced the release of the 2020 batch of a very special Scottish Gin.

Back in 2016, to celebrate Burns Night, the founder of Rock Rose Gin, Martin Murray created a very limited edition gin called “The Lassies Toast”.  The gin features bilberry leaves, strawberry leaves, heather tops, speedwell and wild thyme, ingredients that are all found in the Moorland tea recipe, which Rabbie Burns is reputed to have enjoyed!

It is full of delicious herbaceous elements with wonderful citrus notes shining through, and a heady thyme aroma on the nose.

Each year, they release a small number of bottles that are always in high demand! This year they have 250 bottles available on their website and once it has gone there will be no more until 2021!

So if you’re looking for something special for your “Toast to the Lassies” at the end of your Burns Night meal, look no further – but be quick!

Please enjoy Scottish Gin responsibly
