Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a gin designed for you, where you can taste all of your favourite botanicals in one glass? Well, now you can! Yes, gin lovers, all your Christmas wishes are granted!

Inspirited is a brand new Scottish distillery, based in Strathaven, that distils their own gin (more of that later), but they also offer a bespoke service where you are in control of the recipe. Each bottle is unique to you, distilled to order on their custom-made still, bottled and labelled by hand, all for just £49.99 (this includes personalisation and delivery in the UK Mainland).

How does it work?

You start by choosing from 35 botanicals – the team suggest choosing between 6 and 10. The botanicals are split by flavour profile from citrus through to spicy and there are lots of tasty tips along the way to guide you through the process.

“With thousands of potential combinations, you pick the ingredients and we bring it together – share an experience or memory through tastes and smells in a unique and personal way”.

Inspirited is the brainchild of a family team of electrical engineers, who also happen to love gin. They’ve worked with distilleries throughout their careers, so they understand the distilling process perfectly. They wanted to bring something different to the Scottish Gin world, so along with their own Inspirited Gin, (that we were kindly gifted), they offer this incredible service.

They worked with a company in Chicago to design their bespoke still which they believe is a one of a kind – the control panel certainly is (well we haven’t seen one like it). After months of planning and consulting with flavour and distilling experts, Inspirited launched on 18 November. 

The orders are already flying in, and there is a guaranteed fulfilment of 5 working days, plus delivery. So that means there is still time to design your very own gin – or design one for that gin-lover in your life before Christmas. There’s also the option to buy gift cards for people to create their own, or of course you can buy Inspirited Gin for £29.99.

On the nose: leads with juniper

On the palate: juniper and citrus notes

On the finish: smooth with a warming spicy finish. 

Inspirited Gin is a smooth and easy drinking gin. It’s super refreshing with a light tonic, but it’s up to you how you want to drink this, as there is no perfect serve.
