Global Design Award for The Teasmith Spirit Company

We’re delighted for Nick and Emma Smalley and their team at The Teasmith Spirit Company as they were awarded a prestigious commendation at The Design & Packaging Masters – part of the internationally renowned Global Spirits Masters series.

The Aberdeenshire-based gin producers received a Master Medal from a panel of experts in a category judged on aesthetics, materials, creativity and strong branding on display.

The Master Medal is the highest commendation in the category and caps off another year of achievement for the company – who recently launched the first-ever gin distilled with a batch of Scottish-grown tea – Broich Single Estate – which marks the first specialised, small-batch ‘Grower’s Edition’ gin released by the company.

At Aberdeen’s recent Society Awards, The Teasmith were ‘Highly Commended’ in the Drinks Business of the Year category and earlier in 2019 were also voted the 5th best gin in Scotland in our 2019 Consumer’s Choice poll – in a field of 139 brands.

Founders Nick and Emma Smalley – who work in partnership with Aberdeen-based brand agency FortyTwo Studio on their branding and packaging design – reflected on this latest success for The Teasmith:

“Once again we are blown away with this recognition of the brand design and packaging of The Teasmith Gin. An extremely high number of brands have entered the global marketplace this year and it is more important than ever to demonstrate quality not just in spirit but in the overall delivery of your product. This is at the centre of everything we do at The Teasmith Spirit Company.”

A well-deserved congratulations to The Teasmith team and we hope they go on to further successes in 2020!
