The Science of the Sesh

It’s August, which means Edinburgh comes to life and is full of cool, exciting and interesting shows.

If, like us, you like a Fringe show with a difference, the Science of the Sesh 3.0 is just the ticket. Hosted by the talented Jamie Shields and Greg Thornton (Summerhall Drinks Lab, Juniper Festival and Juniper Cruises) the pair take you on a sensory journey through the science behind your favourite drinks, including Scottish Gin, obviously.

Without giving too much away, you get to mix and sample your own drinks, whilst learning some pretty cool things – what’s not to love?

Jamie from Summerhall Drinks Lab says:

Science of the Sesh is our fun look at some boozy science – we explore the science of a drink like a G&T, and how each component contributes towards the flavour you perceive. We do so through hands-on experiments, delicious cocktails with Scottish spirits, and plenty of interesting science and history!

Shows run at 3.30pm and 8.30pm on August  Aug 3-5, 7-12, 14-19, 21-25 Book your tickets here.

Please drink responsibly, over 18s only.
