Stirling Gin Distillery opens its doors.

The big day has finally arrived that all the hard work from Stirling Gin has paid off and they open the doors to Stirling’s first legal distillery.

After months of graft, transforming the historic Old Smiddy building into a distillery, the team have announced details of a range of tours and experiences for all levels of gin enthusiasts at their new home.

Visitors to the distillery will be welcomed with a bespoke cocktail, taught about the exciting and turbulent history of gin, hear about how the team developed Stirling Gin and renovated the Old Smiddy, enjoy a tour of the still room and bottling area and end with a tasting of some of Stirling Distillery’s delicious products.

Stirling Classic Tour – £10 – welcome cocktail, tour and chat and a Stirling Gin perfect serve.

Folklore Collection Tour – £15 – welcome cocktail, tour and chat, a Stirling Gin perfect serve and samples of the Red Cap and Green Lady gin liqueurs.

Battle Strength Tour – £23 – welcome cocktail, tour and chat, a Stirling Gin perfect serve, samples of the Red Cap and Green Lady gin liqueurs and a dram of 55% Battle Strength Gin all paired with locally crafted chocolates.

Old Smiddy Gin School – £90 – two and a half hour gin making experience where guests will be seated at their very own mini still and shown how to choose botanicals, run a distillation and take home their unique spirit in a personalised bottle.
