The Scottish Gin Society guide to festive gin buying
At a time when you can buy almost any flavour of gin, it’s no surprise that this year, you have quite a sizeable choice when it comes to festive Scottish Gins.
But never worry, the ‘elves’ here at The Scottish Gin Society thought we would try to make your choice a bit easier, by bringing a selection of great, Christmassy gins together in one place. By no means is this an exhaustive list, but hopefully, it will ignite some inspiration for Christmas.
So if you’re a wonderfully thoughtful Secret Santa, throwing a Christmas drinks party, or just looking for an alternative to sherry for Santa this year, feast your eyes – there’s bound to be something for you here.

Christmas GoodWill Gin
Christmas Goodwill
Christmas GoodWill Spiced Gin is a limited edition Scottish craft gin matured in oak casks hand-picked by the Glenwyvis Master Distiller to add some welcome winter warmth. Made in Dingwall using nine botanicals, the GlenWyvis Christmas GoodWill is characterised by seasonal flavours of cinnamon and rich dried fruits.
Darnley’s Spiced is distilled from ten botanicals including juniper, cloves, grains of paradise and ginger. Bottled at 42.7% ABV, this contemporary gin has a lingering peppery finish and is best served with ginger ale as an alternative to tonic or in a warming spiced gin toddy.
