Loch Ness Spirits releases first gin in the new ‘Legends’ series

One of the world’s longest-running mysteries is that of the depths of Loch Ness, and the notoriety of Nessie continues to capture the imagination of the world.  But it’s not only the story of its most famous inhabitant that makes this a place of mystery. There are numerous myths and tales connected to both the Loch and the land, that have added to the magic and intrigue of the region.

To celebrate these time-honoured ‘Legends’, Loch Ness Spirits have created a wonderful new series of hand-crafted gins.

Legend No.1

Each batch released is to be inspired by one of the myths and legends of Loch Ness.

Legend No. 1 tells the story of how Loch Ness came to be.

This is not a widely known tale, even amongst locals, but it gives understanding as to why the world famous loch was given its name.

Each Legend expression will have a unique flavour profile as well as a story.

The team at Loch Ness Spirits explain “We wanted to deliver a product that would be as rare and special as our award-winning ‘Original’ Loch Ness Gin.

“It allows us to be creative, nimble and interesting in our approach to creating small-batch gin and it allows you to sample different blends and discover more about the magic of the region – just as a local would.”
