Speyside Distillery

Nestled with the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains, Speyside Distillery is widely acknowledged s being the prettiest distillery in Scotland. From 1965 it was slowly and lovingly converted into a single malt distillery, which then started producing spirit on Christmas Day 1990.

In 2017, they made their first gin crafted by distillery manager Sandy Jamieson in partnership with Andy Amphlett, the County Recorder for the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland. Byron’s Gin is now the official gin of the organisation. The gin is named after Lord Byron, who loved the Highlands.

Distillery visits by appointment.
