Wild Island Gin

Contract distilled outside Scotland by Colonsay Beverages Ltd.

Six native plants which are hand gathered in Colonsay in Spring and Summer – lemon balm, wild water mint, meadowsweet, sea buckthorn, heather flowers and bog myrtle are used to make Wild Island Botanic Gin, along with 10 other botanicals. The gin is made by Rob Dorsett at Langley Distillery, Birmingham.

However, Colonsay Beverages ltd now houses the first legal still on the island, and distilled their first seasonal expression ‘Distiller’s Cut’ (500 bottles) winter 2017, to complement the range, which is available to buy from the distillery and brewery shop.
