Barra Atlantic Gin launch an exciting new Gin Liqueur

Barra Atlantic Gin has been produced by the passionate husband and wife team Michael and Katie Morrison at isle of Barra Distillery and from the hand-harvesting of the gin’s key botanical – carrageen seaweed – to producing the multi-award-winning spirit – their dedication to providing a top-quality craft gin is evident in every bottle produced.

And now, we have the exciting news of a new release at the Isle of Barra Distillers. It’s something they have been working on for some time now…

NEW! Rhubarb & Heather Gin Liqueur
This new release is also hand-crafted with love, a 2021 limited batch of Rhubarb & Heather Gin Liqueur. With a small limited production released, it’s a product created close to their hearts, home and local community.

The signature ingredient for their new product has been sourced from Gàradh a’ Bhàgh a’ Tuath, a local charitable organisation on the island. They have shared their harvest of beautifully sweet Rhubarb. With this fabulous bounty The team at Isle of Barra Distillers set to work and perfected the flavour profile to not only reflect on their Gin but also create a twist of refreshing sweetness to display a new burst of flavour to your drink.

The liqueur portrays a packed flavour of rhubarb, a spice of ginger and a hint of lemongrass. Resulting in a refreshing drink both neat and combined into a cocktail. They recommend serving neat over ice or to give a delicious depth of flavour to your G&T, add a 15ml measure into your Barra Atlantic Gin & Tonic!

You can get your hands on a limited edition bottle on their online shop and you’ll also get a packet of seeds thrown in, so you can grow your own rhubarb!
