New range of CBD craft spirits launching
Top Beverages is a new luxury craft distiller that focuses exclusively on CBD infused spirits and later this month, they are launching a range of 9 spirits (3 of which are gins) in the UK, which have been distilled in Arbroath.
Following a chance meeting in Barcelona 5 years ago, founders Nicholas Pullen and Saf Ali set out to disrupt the spirits and CBD markets by introducing a range of luxury spirits that contain CBD. Both Nicholas and Saf have used CBD for the management of aches and pains, and wanted to create a spirit where people could truly live AND drink well.
But what is CBD and why would you want it in your gin? CBD (cannabidiol) is an oil that is naturally sourced from hemp plants and is widely used for pain relief by sufferers of many conditions, including arthritis and MS. It is also said to be beneficial in the treatment of many other illnesses and conditions, including Alzheimer’s and anxiety.
The innovative new range of CBD infused spirits from Top, called The Collections, includes vodka, rum and 3 expressions of gin.
Top distils its Classic Gin with juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, elderflower, lemon peel, lime peel, fresh Valencian orange and 50 mg of premium full-spectrum CBD.
Top distils its Super Gin with juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, goji berries, açai berries, fresh blueberries and 50 mg of premium full-spectrum CBD.
Top’s Bloody Mary Gin is distilled with juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica root, orris root, elderflower, fresh cherry tomatoes, fresh Valencian oranges, celery, black pepper, red chilli and 50 mg of premium full-spectrum CBD.
All spirits are 54.5% volume and are bottled and labelled by hand in luxury Italian glass.
Top say their range of spirits will appeal to ‘people who embrace health, wellness and natural ingredients’.
