The Perth Distillery Company

The Perth Distillery Company is the home of Perth Gin.  The first ever distillery in the City of Perth, it sits on the side of the River Tay next to the iconic Perth Bridge.

Established in 2016, the company first produced Perth Gin under a cuckoo arrangement at a nearby distillery. All this whilst founder Iain McDonald continued to progress the plan to establish Perth’s first ever distillery in the heart of the city.

The Perth Distillery Company finally fired up it’s stunning pair of Portuguese alembic copper stills in November 2019 and will launch it’s latest expression in early 2020.

The Perth Distillery Company sits at ground level within the vast expanse of The Royal George Hotel in Tay Street. Rich in history the distillery utilises a series of ancient arched stables which once provided accommodation for Queen Victoria’s carriage horses when she stayed at the hotel.

The distillery will be providing a range of tour options from tasting to making your vey own gin, and, with the hotel upstairs there will also be fine dining options.
