Isle of Raasay Distillery

The Isle of Raasay, is placed perfectly between the Isle of Skye and mainland Scotland. Raasay Distillery started distilling in September 2017, and it is already employing over 10% of Raasay’s 160 residents, producing 188,000 litres of malt spirit each year whilst also running a Five Star visitor centre and Four-Star luxury accommodation – all under one roof.

Visitors to the island distillery experience first-hand the exciting journey from revitalising a landmark Victorian island building, to harvesting the first Raasay barley for a generation, to handcrafting the first Isle of Raasay Hebridean Gin and the first Isle of Raasay single malt in history using water from a well deep beneath the distillery.
