Dunnet Bay Distillers

You’ll find this Caithness distillery, where Rock Rose Gin is made in the most northerly county of mainland Scotland in Dunnet, overlooking the bay. Bespoke pot still ‘Elizabeth’, was uniquely designed to create the spirits by one of the oldest still makers in the world. They have opened a new shop and visitor tasting centre this year.

Rock Rose Gin is made using a traditional handmade copper head along with botanical vapour basket.  It is a small batch process which produces only 500 litres. Each bottle is filled, hand-waxed, batch numbered and signed before it leaves the distillery.
