Crafty Distillery on the edge of Newton Stewart has a true grain-to-glass approach creating spirits from scratch using new technology and local ingredients. The team use their own wheat base spirit from local grain to make Hills & Harbour Gin.
Crafty Distillery offer tours and tastings where you can sit and enjoy unspoilt panoramic views of the area. Look out for their Gin Escape, launching Spring 2018, you’ll be able to join the team for a fun tour of the unspoilt hills and coastlines of Galloway. You’ll help forage for the botanicals that make Hills & Harbour Gin unique, and along the way get to try some tasty and vibrant gin cocktails. You’ll end the day with a tour of the distillery, showcasing how the gin is made.
