Bruichladdich Distillery

Famed for its Islay malt whisky, Bruichladdich makes the first and only gin from Islay – an island off the west coast of Scotland. The Botanist is distilled in their unique and cherished Lomond pot still, affectionately known by the former Head Distiller Jim McEwan as ‘Ugly Betty’.

The Botanist is a dry gin distilled on the island of Islay at Bruichladdich Distillery. It’s a luxurious, artisanal spirit, hand-crafted from 22 foraged botanicals. The local botanicals delicately augment nine berries, barks, seeds and peels during an achingly slow distillation.
