Caorunn – Balmenach Distillery

Balmenach Distillery, home to Caorunn, is as old as it is acclaimed. Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, it was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to be licensed in the production of Scotch whisky in 1824. Caorunn’s master distiller Simon Buley personally crafts each and every bottle of this small batch quadruple-distilled artisan gin, using the worlds only copper berry chamber.

This award winning gin destination is well worth a visit to the Highlands. Guests are given a behind the scenes tour of the production of Caorunn followed by a unique opportunity to have a tutorial in gin nosing and tasting.
