Crossbill tasting event

Sat July 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Award-winning Crossbill Gin is made with just two Scottish botanicals, juniper and rosehip, to create a dry, distinctive and very popular gin. Originally created in a converted shed in the Highlands, Crossbill Gin has moved to the Glasgow Barrowlands, enabling them to set up their own Gin School.  Now that is somewhere we would like to study!  Find out more and taste their gin at this free in-store tasting.

Crossbill Gin Tasting

Founder, Jonathan Engels, re-established a long lost tradition of harvesting Scottish juniper which has created a distinct taste evocative of the ancient pine forests where juniper has grown for centuries.

Originally based in a converted shed deep in the Inshriach forest, Johnathan moved his Distillery to the Barrowlands in Glasgow allowing the business to expand and increase the volumes of each batch they produce.  It also enabled them to set up their own Gin School which was one of only two destinations in the UK to make it to the world’s top “52 places to go in 2018’ list in the New York Times.

Their Brand Ambassador, Dayna is keen to tell you all about it and introduce you to their delicious gin.

This is a FREE tasting event, just pop in to the shop between 1 – 4pm
