SUMMARY:Charity Gin Tasting for SSAFA
DESCRIPTION:The Soldiers\, Sailors\, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) provides life long support\, to serving men and women\, and additionally veterans\, from the British Armed Forces\, as well as their families and dependants. \nIn 1944\, SSAFA was dealing with 70\,000 family welfare cases every month. This level of unfailing support continues to this day\, but we need your support to ensure our service personnel and their families receive the support they deserve. \nThe Event: \nThe event will have around 16 local vendors\, offering a wide range of premium quality products\, with all profits going directly to SSAFA. \nTicket cost: £12\, which covers entry and more importantly\, the sampling of premium quality Beers & Spirits. It’s guaranteed to be a great day and/or evening out and is the perfect opportunity to pick up some goodies in time for (dare we say it) Christmas!\n\nScotland’s list of distilleries is ever-growing and we are pretty damn excited to bring some new guys to the table as well as some of your old favourites. Spirits will include gin\, rum\, vodka\, eau de vie\, whisky\, and liqueurs…\n\nEach distillery will be offering up 5ml samples and if you like what you taste you can then purchase a perfect serve\, a delicious cocktail\, or bottle/s to take home.\n\nTo accompany all these awesome distilleries we are also pulling together an epic line-up of funky pop-up bars\, mouth-watering street food vendors and local market traders. There will be beers and ciders for those wanting a wee break from the spirits\, as well as soft drinks\, non-alcoholic beers and hot drinks for the non-drinkers. Along with talented local acoustic acts and DJ’s to create the perfect soundtrack and atmosphere.\n\nMore information\, some special collabs and the full line-up coming soon… \nPlease note all bars and stands at the festival will be worked on a cash basis (some may have card facilities) and no token system will be in place.

DESCRIPTION:The Gin Fest is back! \nThe Gin Fest will be showcasing Scottish Gins (old and new)\, where they will be offering their perfect serves with some creative cocktails thrown in\, and to top it off some delicious food too. \nAs you arrive you will receive your very own Gin Fest balloon glass\, The Gin Fest brochure and 1 voucher. The brochure tells you more about the brands and their perfect serves; it also has some delicious Gin Cocktail recipes. Your voucher entitles you to 1 complimentary drink from the Gin & Fizz bar. \nThere will be options for you to sample the brands before you buy\, drink their perfect serve and take a bottle or two home to share with some friends (or not).
